The Repair Cafe is a great non-profit group that is helping Toronto reduce waste and build the skills to go Waste Free!
The monthly Repair Cafes are held across Toronto and volunteer 'fixers' offer free (by donation) services to help you repair what you have, and also build skills to repair it yourself! They aim to "build a more sustainable society and counter the throwaway mindset."
The Repair Cafe will be at the Skills For Change centre on St. Clair in July.
At July’s Repair Café, fixers will work with you to repair all kinds of broken household items, including computers and other electronics, small appliances and furniture, clothes, jewellery and books. As well, there will be a 3D printer on site!
When: Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Skills for Change, 791 St. Clair Ave. West, 2nd Floor
