Calculated Household Waste per year is 9.4 cubic metres, although I rarely fill the extra large bin; it is often only half full.

3.1 Cubic Metres. Probably actual waste is less, since we rarely fill the garbage bin

We have a large bin but we only put it out 3 times in 2 months instead of 4 – so it would be 4.65 cubic metres.

Most of our garbage is what we pick up outside, blown in from the nearby industrial area. From our house we average 1 grocery bag per week, so our personal waste is actually 1 cubic metre per month – mostly plastic.

Yes. My household of two adult women produces approximately 3.9 cubic metres of waste per year.
